Receive notifications about what goes in and out of your account.
Description
This service allows you to:
- Request to receive a real-time notification when there's a debit entry reported on your account/s.
- Request to receive a real time notification when a credit entry settles into your account/s
- Choose which type of transactions you want to receive real time notifications on. example, only credit notifications via EFT.
Important Update
Clients are now able to register for this service using different transports, i.e., notifications will not only be limited to SWIFT transport but also the following:
Transport: SFTP, MFT, REST API, Connect Direct, MQ.
We have also introduced an ISO 20022 camt.054, Bank to Customer Notifications message format. Clients can now choose to receive their debit and credit notifications in this format.

File Naming Conventions
The naming convention below is applicable to MT and ISO 20022 formats.
Supported Formats
SWIFT MT is a legacy non-XML proprietary message format used for processing over the swift network.
ISO 20022 is an ISO standard for electronic data interchange between financial institutions. It describes a metadata repository containing descriptions of messages and business processes, and a maintenance process for the repository content.
Available Transports
SFTP
SFTP is a widely accepted protocol, and is recommended if you will be sending high volumes of transactions in one request.
In terms of setup, it is your organisation's responsibility to install the protocol on your Server / AS400 / Mainframe. In addition, you will be required to provide us with your SFTP details for test and production environment if you are connecting on your own account.
If you are connecting on your own account, your system is required to send and fetch responses from the Bank. Our channel does not send responses to or fetch requests from your environment.
MQ (Message Queue)
Messaging Queue IBM® MQ is robust messaging middleware that simplifies and accelerates the integration of diverse applications and business data across multiple platforms.
MQ is recommended for real time processing for maximum efficiency.
In terms of setup, you will be required to issue us with your MQ details for test and production environment if you are connecting on your own account.
Connect Direct
IBM Sterling Connect is optimized for high volume delivery of files It also provides script based automation, scheduling and alert notifications for 24x7 unattended operations.

MFT
Managed file transfer (MFT) is a technology platform that allows organizations to reliably exchange electronic data between systems and people in a secure way to meet compliance needs. These data movements can be both internal and external to an enterprise and include various types, including sensitive, compliance-protected or high-volume data. It can be offered as software or as a service and may include a single pane for visibility and governance.
MFT is a more reliable and efficient means for secure data and file transfer, outpacing and outperforming applications such as file transfer protocol (FTP), hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) and other methods.
In terms of setup, you will be required to issue us with your Connect Direct details for test and production environment if you are connecting on your own account.
SWIFT
SWIFT is a messaging network that banks and other financial institutions use to quickly, accurately, and securely send and receive information and instructions through a standardised system of codes, such as money transfer instructions.

MT900 Message Specification
The MT900 confirmation of debit notification message is based on the Bank's specific rules and usage guidelines derived from the base SWIFT MT900 message.
The MT900 confirmation of debit notification message is sent by the Bank to the client when there's a debit entry on their account.
MT910 Message Specification
The Third-Party Investment Management(3PIM) Message is based on the Bank's specific rules and usage guidelines.
A 3PIM payment is a request sent by you to the Bank to request a payment to 3PIM accounts. These payments can be done on a direct or indirect structure.
camt.054 Message Specification
The BankToCustomerDebitCreditNotification Message is based on the Bank's specific rules and usage guidelines derived from the base ISO20022 camt.054.001.08 message.
The BankToCustomerDebitCreditNotification message is sent by the bank to an account owner or to a party authorised by the account owner to receive the message to inform the account owner, or authorised party, of single or multiple debit and/or credit entries reported to the account.
