What is VezoPay?
VezoPay, powered by Fidesmo, is a mobile contactless payment service that enables secure and convenient transactions using a payment ring.
How does VezoPay work?
VezoPay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies to make contactless mobile payments. This means that you can make a secure contactless payment virtually anywhere on any contactless enabled payment terminal.
How to setup VezoPay on your phone for your supported Vezo wearable?

Download and launch the VezoPay App on your smartphone

Follow the instructions to set up a Vezo account or sign in to an existing account

Select 'Add Wearable' and follow the prompts to link your wearable

Follow the prompts to link your payment card and activate the wearable
How do I make a payment with my wearable?
Place your wearable near the POS device to complete the transaction.
Please refer to your wearable manufacturer's guidelines for instructions on how to position the wearable during payment.
Can I add my credit card to VezoPay?
Yes. A virtual card is the preferred option to load onto a supported digital wallet, as it offers enhanced security features and allows you to earn higher eBucks rewards.
How can I delink my virtual card from the wearable?
There are multiple ways to remove your card from your wearable:

View and remove cards linked to your Vezo wearable on the RMB Private Bank App by going to 'Settings' and selecting 'Wallets + Subscriptions', or

Remove the card using the VezoPay App
If your wearable is lost or stolen, contact the RMB Private Bank contact centre or visit your nearest branch immediately.
Where can I use VezoPay?
VezoPay will work in stores where the contactless payment symbol is displayed. Not all point-of-sale terminals may be set up to accept contactless payments.
What happens if I can't complete my registration or don't receive an OTP?
Contact the RMB Private Bank team via Secure Chat® on the app.
Why was my VezoPay transaction declined?
If a VezoPay transaction is declined, contact the RMB Private Bank team via Secure Chat® on the app.
What cards can be loaded onto VezoPay?
VezoPay is available to all SA bank cards (virtual and physical), excluding Petro or Auto cards. A virtual card remains the preferred option to load onto a supported digital wallet, offering enhanced security features and higher eBucks rewards.
Is VezoPay supported outside my country?
Yes. VezoPay can be used anywhere the contactless payment symbol is displayed.
Does my wearable or phone need to be connected to the internet to Tap and Pay?
No.
Does my phone need to be connected to the internet when registering my bank card?
Yes.
How secure is VezoPay?
VezoPay uses a substituted version of your bank card number, ensuring it is never stored on your device or on Vezo/Fidesmo servers. Your card details are never shared with merchants. If your wearable or phone is lost or stolen, contact the bank immediately to cancel your card.
What should I do if my wearable is lost or stolen?
Contact our support team via Secure Chat® on the RMB Private Bank App to cancel the card linked to your wearable.
You should also remove the card via the RMB Private Bank App by going to 'Settings' and selecting 'Wallets + Subscriptions'.
What are the benefits of using virtual cards with VezoPay?
Virtual cards are only accessible via secure login to the RMB Private Bank App, making them extremely difficult for fraudsters to compromise without phishing or vishing. Innovative security features such as dynamic CVV further protect customers. Virtual cards can also be created and activated instantly, helping customers maximise their eBucks rewards.
