QUALIFYING CRITERIA AND FEES

What you pay

As an RMB Private Bank Account holder, you can enjoy complimentary access to the luxurious SLOW Lounges and selected Bidvest Premier Lounges. Make a flight booking for you and your family using eBucks Travel and earn bonus Airport Lounge visits. Go to the eBucks tab on the RMB Private Bank App to see how many Airport Lounge visits you have available. To access a lounge simply generate a QR code on the RMB Private Bank App and scan it at the lounge entrance or swipe your qualifying RMB Private Bank card.

Complimentary and Bonus visits will be allocated annually from 1 July to 30 June the following year.

All visits into the Lounges are charged for. Your fee will only be reversed if you meet the following criteria:

*Complimentary visits can be used at SLOW domestic lounges, SLOW International and selected Bidvest Premier Lounges where a SLOW Lounge is not available in the same airport terminal. Complimentary visits can be used at Bidvest Premier Lounges located at the following airports: Port Elizabeth, George, Bloemfontein, East London, Kruger-Mpumalanga and Lanseria airports as well as the Bidvest International Lounges located at Cape Town International Airport.

Guest visits are considered part of the cardholder's complimentary visits and will be deducted from the available complimentary visits.
Only your first guest and first child (between the age of 2 to 18 years) will benefit from your complimentary visits and you will be charged for every guest or child thereafter (applicable to reward levels 2 to 5).
Children younger than 2 years old enter the lounges for free. These visits will not be deducted from your complimentary visits.
You are permitted to take a maximum of 2 (two) children into a Bidvest Premier Lounge per visit.
Complimentary visits can be used by secondary cardholders as per the same rules that apply to the main account holder
If an account is new or recently upgraded, complimentary SLOW Lounge visits will be allocated after your monthly eBucks rewards are allocated, which is on or around the 8th of each month.
Complimentary SLOW Lounge visits allocated will also depend on whether you met the qualifying criteria in the previous calendar month.

General rules for bonus visits earned through eBucks Travel bookings

Complimentary Lounge visits received from your eBucks Travel flight booking will be added to your annual complimentary allocated visits as 'bonus visits'.
Bonus visits are subject to general Lounge access rules, including but not limited to
- Access to Domestic Lounges will be limited to 90 minutes before boarding time
- Access is subject to availability, according to SLOW & Bidvest Premier Lounge capacity and safety rules.
The cardholder making the booking must be an RMB Private Bank Account holder and on a qualifying eBucks reward level in order to earn bonus visits for themselves and other travellers who are part of the travel booking
The bonus visits will automatically be added onto your annual visits once your flight booking is made through eBucks Travel.
As an RMB Private Bank cardholder you can earn up to 24 bonus visits per annum, which are applicable to domestic and international flight bookings.
Bonus visits will be unlocked on flights paid for using your RMB Private Bank card, or using eBucks or part-paid using eBucks and your RMB Private Bank card
Each traveller in the flight booking can earn bonus visits provided that the traveller's RMB Private Bank account is in good standing and they qualify for eBucks discount.
A child older than 2 years can earn a bonus visit if they hold an active FNBy or FNBy Next transactional account. They must be added to the Family Banking Profile of the parent/legal guardian who they are travelling with.
When the main account holder books a flight on eBucks Travel for themselves or their life partner/spouse or a travel companion who meets the qualifying criteria, the bonus visit will be allocated to each cardholder's profile from their own allocation of visits for them to use via their own FNB/RMB Private Bank App. Children do not have a set allocation. They have the potential to earn up to 24 visits provided that the parent/legal guardian has available visits.
Bonus visits can be used by swiping your qualifying bank card or by generating a QR code on the RMB Private Bank App and scanning it at the Lounge entrance.
When the cardholder accesses the Lounge, the bonus visits will be depleted first before the annual allocated visits
Bonus visits are valid for use from 7 days before the flight date to 7 days after the flight date.
Unused bonus visits will be re-allocated to your pool of existing bonus visits, which can be earned again with your next flight booking made with eBucks Travel

Complimentary visits can be used at SLOW domestic lounges, SLOW International and selected Bidvest Premier Lounges where a SLOW Lounge is not available in the same airport terminal. Complimentary visits can be used at Bidvest Premier Lounges located at the following airports: Port Elizabeth, George, Bloemfontein, East London, and Kruger Mpumalanga airports as well as the Bidvest International Lounges located at Cape Town International Airport.

The main account holder is permitted to take a maximum of 2 (two) children into a Bidvest Premier Lounge per visit.

Bidvest lounge access rules

Lounge hosts cannot advise on available complimentary visits or fees. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to familiarise themselves with the qualifying criteria and applicable fees.
The Bidvest Lounges will not accept any RMB Private Bank cardholders with expired cards.
To access any of the Bidvest Lounges simply generate a QR code on your RMB Private Bank App and scan it at the lounge entrance or swipe your qualifying RMB Private Bank card
The Bidvest Lounges will only permit the cardholder access to the lounges if the RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Debit Card presented is in their individual name.
Only one card (RMB Private Bank Credit, Fusion or Debit Card) will be permitted per client requiring access to the lounge and must be accompanied by a boarding pass (both the card and the boarding pass must be in the same individual's name).

Access rules

Use eBucks Travel to make your next flight booking and earn an up to 8 Bonus Visits per annum
All your visits into the lounges are non-transferable. All unused visits will not roll over to the next calendar year
If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for free visits or you have used all your available free visits you will be charged for entering the lounges
Your free visits are determined from your Reward Level at time of entering the lounge, which is updated around the 8th of each month
Access will only be permitted on presentation and swiping of applicable card by the cardholder
Only valid cards will be accepted. No expired cards will be accepted
Only one card will be permitted per cardholder per visit and must be accompanied by a boarding pass
Both the card and the boarding pass must be issued in the same individual's name
SLOW reserves the right of admission and retains the right to deny access should they deem necessary
Cardholders under the age of 18 years will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years
Children younger than 2 years old may access the SLOW Lounge for free
All FREE visits will be allocated at main client level and can be used/ accessed by any card (debit, credit, Fusion or additional credit)
All qualifying debit and credit cardholders who have access to Bidvest Lounges will only be allowed to enter 120 minutes before their departure time at Domestic Lounges and 240 minutes before their departure time at International Lounges

You may be charged for stays beyond this time limit at the applicable rate for the Lounge.
Should you leave the Lounge for any reason after the expiry of this time limit, youwill be charged at the applicable rate for re-entering the Lounge.

The partnership in question is between RMB Private Bank and Bidvest and not RMB and Bidvest. Only clients of RMB Private Bank will be permitted access to the lounge, on presentation of their RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Debit Card and boarding pass.

QR Code Rules

Only one QR code is required to accommodate Lounge entry for the cardholder and their guest(s).
Both the QR code and the boarding pass must be issued in the same individual's name.
A QR code can only be successfully redeemed if the cardholder has sufficient funds in their account to cover the cost of entry, irrespective of whether or not the fee will be reversed.
