What Cellphone Banking allows me to do:

  • Get a Mini Statement
  • Transfer money between your own accounts (eg. from your Cheque Account to your Credit Card Account)
  • Make third party payments to pre-defined beneficiaries(e.g. family, friends, clothing or municipality accounts)

How do I register for Cellphone Banking?

You can register for Cellphone Banking at any of the following channels:

  • On your cellphone by dialling *120*321# and selecting the 'Upgrade' option
  • Visit any FNB branch
  • At any FNB ATM select 'More Options' or 'My Banking Options' on the menu
  • Access Online Banking at www.rmbprivatebank.com and click on the 'Services' tab
  • On rmbprivatebank.mobi, go to 'Login to Banking',
    • Registered Online Banking customers can select Online Banking or
    • Select 'Cellphone Banking' tab and 'Register now'
  • Call the Cellphone Banking helpline on 087 575 9405
